    Not the same

    I bought filets from here, probably 2 years ago, and they were the most amazing filets I have ever had. This last batch I ordered are not good. They are tender, but there's absolutely zero flavor. I threw the first one out because it was terrible. I actually thought it was because I cooked it medium instead of medium rare, but the one I cooked to perfection tonight is also lacking and the quality is not there. Additionally, the new packaging just makes these look cheap. Definitely not worth the cost.

    Quality change since becoming regular customers

    I haven't bought anything from Creekstone for a year. The last delivery of 2 tenderloins were 40% inedible fat mixed in the meat. I posted photos on this website as proof
    Hoping in a year I thought perhaps
    Creekstone might have changed, so I placed an order for six-eight oz fillets. I added a note letting Creekstone know that if they weren't satisfactory it would be my last order. Order arrived, meat was thawed. The fillets were six different sizes and fatty. I am not going to bother taking photos as it led nowhere before. When you pay $36.50 for each fillet, I believe they should be perfect. Creekstone must think that expectation is unreasonable. When we first started ordering from Creekstone over 15 years ago, the product was excellent, and continued to be that way until a few years ago. I am so very disappointed to part ways with Creekstone.

    I have purchased many steaks, briskets, burgers, ribs, etc over the past few years from Creekstone. They are of unfailing high quality - only the best! And way better than I can find locally ( unless they admit they also purchase from Creekstone).
